The Gearhart Companies and SONASEARCH
have joined forces in the development of the Cavern Surveyor 07.
Requiring a complete redesign over previous systems, the Cavern Surveyor 07 will
set a new standard in storage well survey tools. "We are so pleased that Marvin
saw the potential in this technology and honored to be associated with him in
this Joint Venture" says Steve Walker, President of Sonasearch.
The Cavern Surveyor 07 is designed for through-pipe operation with testing
showing it will be capable of performing surveys through two strings of pipe. To
ensure that through-pipe surveys will be completed in a single pass, the tool
will incorporate a unique, proprietary Electronic Heading Reference system
featuring exceptional accuracy, reliability and fast warm-up.
The Cavern Surveyor 07 is a next-generation survey tool intended to provide
successful surveys that fully satisfy the needs of cavern owners for accurate,
timely and unambiguous well characterization and volumetric data.
